Engines

Our engines are tested and guaranteed under normal driving conditions not to knock, smoke or have excessive oil consumption. This limited warranty is void if engines have been dissembled before our inspection or if the center of the installed heat tab has been melted or removed.

Accessories which are left on engines such as alternators, starters, carburetors, throttle bodies, injectors, fuel pumps, exhaust manifolds, flywheels and water pumps may be used for your convenience and are not covered under warranty.

Prior to the installation of your recycled used auto part, we suggest you perform the following pre-installation maintenance. By performing the pre-installation maintenance you prolong the life of your recycled part and warranty.

For complete warranty information please contact our sales staff or refer to your sales receipt.

Pre-installation Maintenance

Pre-installation Maintenance:
  • Never work on an A/C system without proper eye protection.
  • Flush and clean the system.
  • Vacuum system to remove moisture.
  • Always change the drier or accumulator and orifice tube.
  • Rotate the compressor 10-12 times.
(before charging the system rotate the compressor 10-12 times to oil the seals. The easiest way to do this is by removing the ignition wire and crank the engine 10-12 times to rotate the compressor).
  • Never Liquid charge the system.
(Freon entering the system as a liquid is a major cause of broken reed valves, broken pistons and noisy compressor)
  • Always use gauges to check the system pressure.
(The pressure of R134a refidgerant will be significantly higher then R12)
